What is a Wearable Journal?
A Wearable Journal is exactly what it sounds like: a sweatshirt designed to collect memories.
Add stitches that remind you of a favorite trip, a season of growth, a beloved place, or simply an afternoon spent creating.
Unlike a traditional journal that lives on a bookshelf, this one becomes part of your everyday life.
What is Stitch Club?
Stitch Club is the Walldorf Designs membership community.
Members have access to an expanding library of video tutorials, stitching techniques, inspiration, and a creative community where they can share their projects and connect with other makers.
Every Wearable Journal includes three months of Stitch Club access.
After that, members can continue with either a monthly or annual membership.
Can I wash my sweatshirt?
Yes.
Once your water-soluble stencils have been removed, wash your sweatshirt on a gentle cycle and allow it to air dry.
Because these pieces are hand-stitched, we recommend treating them with a little extra care.
How long will my sweatshirt last?
Your Wearable Journal is designed to be worn, loved, and lived in.
That said, hand embroidery behaves differently than machine embroidery. Long stitches may loosen over time, especially in areas that experience frequent friction.
If a stitch comes loose, don't panic. A few tiny repairs are simply part of the story.
Can I buy stencil packs without purchasing a Wearable Journal?
Absolutely.
Stencil packs are available separately and can be used on clothing, tote bags, hats, jackets, and other fabric projects.
Can I customize my sweatshirt?
Part of the beauty of the Wearable Journal is that customization happens through your own stitching.
For group events, bachelorette parties, retreats, and other gatherings, we also offer complimentary custom stencil packs designed specifically for your event.

What sizes do you offer?
We regularly stock sizes Small through Large.

How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 5–7 business days.

There is no wrong way to create a Wearable Journal.
Add stitches. Remove them. Change the colors. Fill every inch with doodles, or leave plenty of blank space.
The goal isn't perfection.
The goal is to create something that's unmistakably yours.
Do you offer private stitch parties?
Yes.
Private events include two hours of hands-on instruction and can be customized for birthdays, bachelorette weekends, retreats, team events, and other gatherings.
